If someone asks you if you would go to Milan, you just don't say no, especially if it's during the fashion week. My friends from Technology Chicks blog visited the Homi fair, and I got to explore the most fashionable city just two days before Fashion Week started. This was my second time in Milan, but this time I could really enjoy it because I had more time. So, I visted some of the stores I knew from before, I went to the Rinascimento, just to touch all of the shoes and bags that I usually see only on pictures, and then off to my two favourite stores: Cos and &Other Stories. I already knew about Cos from my trip to London a few years ago, but &Other Stories was new to me. I found out that they are both a part of H&M group, which surprised me because the clothes they sell under these names are far more sofisticated, minimalistic and of better quality. I love the simple silhouttes of their clothes and the versatility of different pieces. I'm not exaggerating if I say that each and every piece looks expensive and far better that most of the clothes we see on the runways. And most of all I love the fact that everything from these two labels is affordable. Oh, and the shoe collection from &Other stories, I didn' even mention that, because I could easily purchase them all.
Unfortunately I could only buy two pieces in &Other Stories in Milan (I was spending too much elsewhere): a neoprene sweater which I think looks really amazing – I already paired it with my grey suede baggy Muuba pants (also bought in Milan) and a black and white fluffy skirt from H&M ….

…. and this cool chunky sandals …

Below are some of the pieces from &Other Stories I would love to have … maybe on my next trip to London ….

The thing with Milan is, that there is a variety of shops that you can go to and not spend like a zillion euros. All the affordable shops are actually around the Duomo, so you really don't have to go anywhere else ... unless you are hungry for window shopping. Oh ... and if you are going to Milan, don't forget to visit the outlet called D'Magazine on Via Manzoni or Via Bigli. There you can find all the designer clothes (from Alexander McQueen to Prada, Celine and Stella McCartney ...) from 50 to 70% off. They have a really big collection of leather jackets for no more than 200 eur, and a variety of designer fur vests, coats and jackets ranging from 500 to 1000 eur.
