Summer grey

Summer is definitely associated with colours. Vivid colours are present everywhere, in nature and in our wardrobes, so maybe grey head to toe is somehow out of place. But I actually like it. As you already know I love shopping second hand and vintage, and this dress is a perfect example of a multi ruffle trapeze dress (or, as I suspect, originally a long skirt) that I found in our local second hand shop. I took it with me on a short vacation by the sea, beacause it is easy to wear: all you need basically is this dress, and you can wear it like a long skirt with your favourite pool slides and a bikini top on the beach, or with your wedge espadrilles for a walk through town in the afternoon like I did, adding just a statement necklace (I bought it just before we took this pictures because it was a perfect match to the dress), a small bag and some bangles … And of course your beach waves – don't you just love them! I've been trying to recreate this natural looking waves while not od vacation, but no luck, yet. Any advise what to use instead of sea water?
