October is one of my favourite months, because it's the month of my birthday ... yeee... and also because one can still expect some warm and sunny days, at least in the afternoon. So layering is really what this month is all about when it comes to dressing. I would really recommend that you try wearing a lot of different clothes one on top of the other. For example: a nice dress on top of denim pants, some nice jacket on top of it all, and in the morning, when the temperatures are still very low, just add a woolen turtleneck or sweater under the jacket. You can take all of that off if the temperatures go above 20 degrees. You see what I mean? Layering is the key.
In case you are wondering, these denim pants with raw, uneven hem that I'm wearing under the dress are actually quite old. I have been moving them from one end of my closet to another for a few years now. I didn't want to throw them away, because they have small splashes of gold colour on the fabric, which makes them really special and unique. So, a few days ago I decided to give them another life. Inspired by the Vetements denim with uneven hem, I cut them myself, and, voila. Perfect! No need to buy a new pair, instead I can indulge myself with something I don't already own.

I'm wearing: SPORTMAX dress, EXTE jeans (old), CHANEL slingbacks (vintage, via Rebelle), TOPSHOP denim jacket, FOREVER 21 bag, VOGUE sunglasses, DKNY watch, MORELLATO bracelet, WOOLWISH necklace (order here)
